Hip Replacement Interventions for the Evidence-Based Practitioner | |
While occupational therapy practitioners mainly focus on ADLs, transfers, and balance when providing interventions to clients following a hip replacement, there is research regarding interventions for this diagnosis that can expand the role of occupational therapy. Additionally, when implementing specific activities to aid function, clinicians can reference research included in this article to support the intervention that is being provided.

Calling Mental Health Practitioners Working for the NYS OMH | |
NYSOTA's Mental Health Task Force is conducting a survey of occupational therapy practitioners currently working for the NYS Office of Mental Health (OMH). Our goal is to advocate for better funding and reimbursement rates for OTPs to provide mental health services in the community and to increase employment opportunities for OTPs in both inpatient and outpatient NYS OMH settings. The survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.
