Welcome to our May 2024 Special Conference Edition of our Newsletter! The months have flown by and our conference is almost here! We cannot wait to see you in Albany!

We are excited to welcome an incredible slate of speakers this year that will inspire, educate, and engage with our conference attendees. This event presents an excellent opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals from across the state who share our principles and beliefs.

Last year, our members demonstrated remarkable dedication by making over 100,000 phone calls as part of our "Strike Force" initiative to support candidates statewide. We hope this conference will activate an energized coalition to help deliver local, state, and federal candidates.

President Trump's former Director of Immigrant and Code Enforcement (ICE) to speak at the NYSFRW conference!

Tom Homan is an American former police officer and government official who served during the Trump Administration.

Mr. Homan served as the Acting Director of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) from January 30, 2017 to June 29, 2018.

Since his retirement from government, he has been a Fox News contributor.

President Trump's former pollster, John McLaughlin, to speak at NYSFRW Conference!

John McLaughlin has worked professionally as a strategic consultant and pollster for over 35 years. During this time, he has earned a reputation for helping some of America’s most successful corporations and winning some of the toughest elections in the nation. In 2016 John worked as an advisor and pollster for Donald Trump from the primaries through election day. 

US Senate Candidate, Mike Sapraicone, to speak at the NYSFRW conference!

Mike Sapraicone is a retired New York Police Department Detective, community volunteer, small business founder, and nationally-recognized security expert.

The New York State Republican Party designated Mike Sapraicone to be the party’s candidate to run for the U.S. Senate against Senator Kirsten Gillibrand. Sapraicone received 85% of the votes from state committee members.

Riley is an American former competitive swimmer. She is among more than a dozen college athletes who have filed a lawsuit against the NCAA for allowing Lia Thomas, a transgender biological male to share a locker room and to have competed at the national championship in 2022.

Congratulations to Teri Egitto! Teri received the Woman of the Year award from the Federated Republican Women of Dutchess County on April 4th!

Congratulations and thank you to the Women's Republican Club of Saratoga County who held their annual Spring Fling in March. Attendees brought items Operation Adopt a Soldier!

Trisha Turner, NYSFRW President, and Heather Scribner, NYSFRW 3rd Vice President, represented the NYSFRW at the NYSGOP State Gala in NYC on April 4. Led by Ed Cox, NYGOP Chair, the keynote speakers included Texas Governor Greg Abbott, former Congressman and gubernatorial candidate, Lee Zeldin, the RNC Chair, Michael Whatley, and Congresswoman Elise Stefanik who received the Jack Kemp Award.
