For the first time in our 10 years of Road Chatter we are sending out two issues in a single month. We know we are going to be a bit busy next Monday-Wednesday with the 77th Highway School so it made sense to send June’s edition out ahead of time.

We also wanted to give you a chance to register early for our fall workshops. You can register online or pick up a registration form at the Highway School. Hope to see you next week at the School and this fall at our workshops, https://cals.cornell.edu/nysltap-local-roads/training-events/workshops

Finally, we are asking for your help as we finalize our plans for 2024-25. Please bring your ideas to make next year even better for you and your colleagues. Find one of us at the School and give us your suggestions for our workshops, webinars, conferences, website, … Anything!

Together we can solve your problems, or at least the year will be memorable.

Healthy Highway Habits

We often focus on the negative impacts of sun exposure, but when enjoyed in moderation, sunlight offers several health benefits. These include mood enhancement, regulation of the circadian rhythm, and synthesis of vitamin D.

As the summer solstice approaches on June 21, make sure to spend some time outdoors and soak in the sun responsibly.
