Tell Us What you Think - Chamber Member Survey Launches Tomorrow
|
You've read here in the recent past that the Chamber has formed a Communications Committee. Led by chair, Dana Bottorff,
GT Reilly & Company, the group has been meeting for about a year.
They have spent their time reviewing the Chamber's communications activities in both print and digital media. Through brainstorming, best practices research and creative discussions, the group has generated a number of fresh ideas to help the Chamber increase its visibility and effectively showcase its members.
The "Burning Question" Video series features Chamber
members answering common questions about how to network and market their businesses to practical advice to this month's question about the benefits of
our Referral Exchange Networks (REN). Matt McKee,
Matt McKee Photography and Will Person, Prize Possessions are the team that make it happen.
Our other video project allows members the opportunity to shoot a one to two minute video promoting their businesses. It's free and can be done on site. What better way to showcase your business? The Chamber will run the spotlight in our e-newsletter and you can then use it yourself for your own purposes. Simply contact
Darryn Carroll at
Norwood Video to get in the spotlight.
Along with these projects, the Committee has worked to beef up the Chamber's presence on social media. A major effort to market the TASTE of the Neponset Valley on Facebook was very successful.
In order to continue to create the most effective messaging and media for ongoing Chamber communications, the Committee is asking members to share their thoughts with us on a number of issues in a Member Survey.
Check your inbox tomorrow and you will find an email with the survey. We are asking members and non-members to spend a couple of minutes (less than 5) letting us know what you think about the Chamber and some of its activities. This will help ensure that we are building programs and initiatives that meet your needs in an ever-changing environment.
Thank you in advance.

U.S. Chamber President
on the Value of Small Business
|
This week the U.S. Chamber of Commerce joins with all Americans to celebrate National Small Business Week. This is an opportunity to show our appreciation for the backbone of our nation's economy: the small businesses that employ more than half of all Americans and create about two out of every three new jobs each year. The Chamber is
proud to represent millions of these businesses all around the country.
We
fight for their interests every day in Washington, D.C., on the big policy issues before our government. We do it because America succeeds when small businesses succeed - and our economy grows when they grow. We also know that the reverse is true - small businesses succeed when America succeeds.
