The entry period for this year's Western Regional Juried Photography Show will close this Friday, March 22 at 8:00 p.m.

All photographers in California, Oregon, and Washington are eligible to enter. Please share our call to artists with any photographers you might know along the west coast - we'd greatly appreciate it.

The show will be an open theme, with all forms of photographic expression encouraged - film and digital capture, both traditional and digital darkroom, along with photo manipulation (although no AI-generated images will be accepted).

The 1st Annual Celtic Arts & Crafts Faire and Plein Air Art Show is right around the corner! The Faire will take place on the green right in front of the Carter House Gallery in Caldwell Park on

Saturday, April 6, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Featuring local musicians and artisans, this all-day event will be fun for the whole family! Further information can be found at https://shastacelticartsandcraftsfair.com/

On Monday, April 8 at 6:30, there will be a meeting at the Carter House Gallery for a slideshow showcasing the work of Dale Laitinen (who is this year's juror for the Painting Show and will hold a workshop in October) and for voting on our 2024 board of directors. We would love to see you there!

Are you doing some spring cleaning in your studio? North Valley Art League is looking for art supplies donations for our upcoming garage sale! Donations will be accepted from Wednesday April 10 thru Saturday April 13 during gallery hours.

Examples of suggested donations:

• Frames
• Usable paintbrushes
• Pencil and pastel sets
• Blank canvases
• Fresh paints
• Easels
• Photography equipment

The NVAL Garage Sale will take place on

Saturday, April 20 from 11 to 4 at the gallery. No early birds, please!
