NSGA Inducts Two Pioneers Into Sporting Goods Industry Hall of Fame
2017 Sporting Goods Industry Hall of Fame Inductee Larry Aasheim accepting his award. 
Larry Aasheim of Universal Athletic and Kevin Plank of Under Armour were enshrined in the Sporting Goods Industry Hall of Fame on May 23 at the close of the 2017 NSGA Management Conference & Team Dealer Summit. Both inductees, present for the event, focused on the teams that got them to where they were and humbly credited their success to the relationships and partnerships they developed through the years.

NSGA hosted its third Innovations Arena during the 2017 NSGA Management Conference & Team Dealer Summit. This year's Arena, the largest since its inception, included new-to-market companies as well as established companies with a new technology or product.

NFHS Proposed Baseball Rule Changes

The National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) has proposed rule changes to ensure baseballs and catcher's chest protectors meet NOCSAE standards. If approved, the rule changes would go into effect January 1, 2019.
