FY 2024 Rural Housing Preservation Grant

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program supports low- and very low-income homeowners in repairing and rehabilitating their homes in rural areas. The program will allow cooperative housing complexes and rental property owners in rural areas to repair and rehabilitate their units if they agree to make such units available to very low- and low-income persons. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? State and local governments, nonprofit corporations, including faith-based and community organizations, federally recognized Indian tribes and consortia of eligible entities

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? 12.2 million

FY 2024 Coastal Zone Management Program: Habitat Protection and Restoration

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program supports projects proposed by coastal zone management (CZM) programs for coastal habitat restoration; coastal habitat restoration planning, engineering, and design; and coastal land conservation projects. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? State, local, territorial, tribal governments, state and territorial CZM programs that have been approved by the funding agency pursuant to the Coastal Zone Management Act (CZMA). CZM programs may partner with regional authorities, nongovernmental organizations, and institutions of higher education

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? 45 million

WHEN'S IT DUE? August 15, 2024

FY 2024 Eviction Protection Grant Program (EPGP)

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to increase housing stability for low-income tenants at risk of or subject to eviction by funding eviction prevention and protection work through no cost legal assistance. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? State governments, county, city, or township governments, special district governments, public, private, and state-controlled institutions of higher education, nonprofit organizations with or without 501(c)(3) status, federally recognized Native American tribal governments, Native American tribal organizations, Hispanic-serving institutions (HSIs), historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs), tribally controlled colleges and universities (TCCUs), and Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian-serving institutions (ANNH), faith-based organizations, and U.S. territories and possessions

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $40 million
