FY 2025 Marine Debris Interception Technologies under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law
WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to support the installation, monitoring, and maintenance of proven marine debris interception technologies to benefit marine and coastal NOAA trust resources. Click here for more information.

State, local, tribal and territory governments whose activities affect research or regulation of marine debris; federally and non-federally recognized Tribes and Native or Indigenous organizations; institutions of higher education; non-profit organizations; and commercial (for-profit) organizations

FY 2024 Community Noise Mitigation Program
WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to facilitate the installation of sound insulation in covered facilities which include hospitals, daycare facilities, schools, facilities serving senior citizens, and private residences. These facilities must be located either within one (1) mile of a military installation or another location at which military aircraft are stationed (one mile is determined from the location’s outermost boundary), or within an area experiencing a day-night average sound level of 65 decibels or greater due to military fixed-wing aviation noise. FY 2024 Connected Communities 2.0: Innovations to Manage Growing Transportation, Building, and Industrial Loads to the Grid
WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to support research, development, and demonstration (RD&D) at the grid edge – the portion of the electric grid between the feeder and the plug – to evaluate how to right size future electricity infrastructure using various technical measures, which can also improve customer benefits and grid resilience. FY 2024 Promoting Vaccine Confidence in Local Communities Through Partnership with Regional Health Offices
WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program aims to expand traditional immunization partnerships to plan, implement, and evaluate evidencebased practices and develop novel approaches to increase confidence in vaccines in local communities, particularly partnerships with minority-serving or other advocacy organizations that work with populations with low vaccination rates, such as African Americans and residents in rural communities. WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to target efforts within Continuum of Care (CoC) geographic areas to address and reduce persons experiencing homelessness by adding new units of permanent supportive housing (PSH) through new construction, acquisition, or rehabilitation through one-time awards under this program. WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to provide federal financial assistance to projects of national significance for construction, reconstruction, or rehabilitation of transportation facilities within, adjacent to, or providing access to Federal or Tribal Lands.
