Hello Everyone!
I hope this email finds you well & enjoying this unseasonably warm weather we have been experiencing. Spring is definitely near!
Please check out the attachments for everything going on including our Menu & Activity Calendar. A few things I'd like to highlight: Tuesday, 2/27 is our first Aerobic Dancing class with Naomi at 2pm. On Thursday we will be celebrating Leap Year with a special Chili/ Hot Dog & treats lunch. Please call to RSVP if interested. Prepayment is also requested. Looking ahead to March, we will be celebrating St. Patrick's Day on Friday, March 15, a sign-up sheet is at the front desk. This is a city lunch and we will have Irish Dancing as our entertainment. And finally, we will have two Passport to the World lunches on Friday, 3/22 & Thursday, 3/28.
Casmir Pulaski Day is on Monday, 3/4. The Center will be closed with no lunch service however the building will be available for regular classes through the Park District.
Book Club is on 3/28 and Computer Drop-in on 3/22.
Are you interested in seeing Aida at the Lyric Opera on Thursday, April 4? A limited number of $49 floor seat tickets are available through Lyric Opera Group Sales. Please call us at the Center & let us know if you are interested. 773-775-6071. We need a minimum of 20 people to get this rate but we need to know ASAP.
Michele Crump continues both her zoom & in-person classes. For those interested in Zoom, the classes are on Mon, Wed & Fri 8:30am, 9:15am & 1pm unless otherwise noted by her.
