Bring your appetite and join other foodies at Read It and Eat It. Each month we will be discussing different chefs, cuisines, or regions. Come share your experiments, experiences, triumphs, and tragedies. Plates, napkins, silverware, and water will be provided. Don't forget some containers because there are usually leftovers to take home!
There will be several cookbook titles to go along with each meeting's theme available for browsing and check out at the circulation desk.

Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum Trip | |

Join us for a trip to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum to coincide with our book groups reading The Lioness of Boston by Emily Franklin. This trip is open to all, you do not need to be in either book group to attend, but feel free to join us on 6/5 at 1:30pm at the library to talk about the book!
Cost: $50 per person payable to NPL by Saturday 5/25 (this includes transportation as well as admission in to the museum)

While general content is designed for ages 2-5, Sensory Playtime is for all children and all abilities!

Little artists ages 4-6 are invited to a special painting program! Join Miss Allison to paint a pre-printed canvas featuring characters from Disney's Lion Guard.

Wear clothing you don't mind getting messy.
Please note that each child's grown-up must remain in the room or just outside the craft room during the program in accordance with NPL's safety and security policy.

Felted Bubble Tea Patches For Teens | |

Spread some positivi-tea when you make your own bubble tea from wool. Use the finished piece as a patch on a jacket, or frame it for a unique piece of art. The patch will either be a matcha or fruit flavored Boba. Add a cute smiling face or your own unique touches. Pop up Art School will show you the basics of needle felting. You'll leave the class with a completed piece and the tools and knowledge to needle felt on your own.
Pick up Monday, 4/15-Saturday, 4/20 - 10:00am-7:30pm.
A video link with instructions on how to make the bubble tea patches will be sent on the day of pick up, 4/15.

This club is for ages 5-7 and will meet once a month in the Story Hour/Craft Room. Do a craft, play games, and talk endless Pokémon facts with Miss Allison and other junior trainers! We'll end each meeting with a Show-n-Share (show off your favorite card, toy, artwork you've done, etc.).
*Please note, there is no trading during this program. If your child would like to trade cards, they may do so before or after club with your supervision.

Our pal Bill Shakesbeare is inviting your stuffed animals to a special stuffies-only sleepover in the library!
Bring one stuffed animal in on Friday anytime between 10:00am and 3:00pm and decorate a name tag for them before leaving them to enjoy a wild night of fun with Bill.
Then join us on Saturday the 27th to pick up your stuffed animal and enjoy a story - and see what your friends were up to the night before!
Didn't take part in the stuffed animal sleepover, but still want to come to this program? Please do!
