NEW ORLEANS, LA – The New Orleans Regional Black Chamber of Commerce is inviting all women professionals throughout the Greater New Orleans region to attend its 4th Annual Women Doing Business half-day conference on Friday, March 15th from 10:00 am-3:00 pm in Xavier University’s Ballroom located at 1 Drexel Drive.
This year’s event, themed Women Doing International Business, is centered around why expanding businesses into global markets is necessary and needed as a critical driver in today’s economy and will feature Shaquana Teasley of Agate Solutions, along with other dynamic women thought leaders from our region facilitating conversations throughout the day.
Chaired by Stephanie Chambliss, owner of PJ’s on Read Boulevard and NORBCC Board Vice-Chair, this highly engaging and interactive in-person event will also feature a seated luncheon with main stage panel discussion, along with two breakout sessions and numerous opportunities for business networking, professional development, and personal growth.
“I am incredibly excited to build upon the momentum of this signature event as we continue to champion Black businesses and engage with our corporate partners that align with and support our mission work throughout the region as our organization intentionally designs programming that promotes and amplifies the influence of women in business,” said Jolie Bernard, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors. “Now more than ever before, our collective efforts to elevate, empower, and educate our membership as well as our larger communities of women professionals that contribute to our overall impact while strengthening businesses and their operations in our 12-parish service footprint is paramount.”
