COVID-19 Policy Implications for USDA Child Nutrition Programs and SNAP

Speakers: Carolyn Vega and Anne Konarski (Share our Strength)

This session will discuss policies and USDA waivers related to SNAP and child nutrition programs, including school and summer meals, during the COVID-19 pandemic. We will discuss lessons learned and policies that have been passed since the waivers and COVID-19 policies expired that have allowed some of the changes to continue as well as implications from COVID-19 policies and waivers for future policy change.
