  • Implements policies, procedures, and strategies to control losses related to human, capital, & financial resources of member counties
  • Conducts audits, inspections of county operations, & provides improvement strategies to NMAC & county executives.

County Reinsurance, Limited (CRL) Training

CRL provided a Board Governance training in Louisville, KY. NMCIA Pool Board members enhancing their knowledge about reinsurance are Grace Philips, Michael Eshleman, Cynthia Stephenson, Jhonathan Aragon, and Joy Esparsen.

Federal Rail Crossing Grant Open

Accepting applications for the Railroad Crossing Elimination Program (RCE) due by September 23, 2024. It is a combined NOFO for FY23 and FY24 for a total of $1.5 billion in funding. In addition, $229 million is set aside for projects in rural or tribal lands, and $11 million for counties with fewer than 20 residents per square mile. EECBG Program Awards & Grants Deadline October 31, 2024

The Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) Program is designed to assist states, local governments, and Tribes in implementing strategies to reduce energy use, to reduce fossil fuel emissions, and to improve energy efficiency. More information HERE
