BLM is soliciting applications to transfer 3 excess Type 6 fire engines, equipment, and supplies to local fire departments to enhance their wildland firefighting capabilities. Available for transfer:

• 2011 Ford F550 Type 6. This fire engine has 79,033 miles, 3,519 hours on the vehicle
• engine and 558 hours on the pump.
• 2011 Ford F550 Type 6. This engine has 80,738 miles, 3,641 hours on the motor and
• 366 hours on the pump.
• 2015 Ford F550 Type 6. This engine is still in service but at time of the letter the engine
• has 131,390 miles, 4,906 hours on the motor and 379 hours on the pump.

Southern New Mexico Communities Can Apply for Texas Broadband Buildout Initiative

The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is looking to help Southern New Mexico communities in its district through the Federal Reserve’s Broadband Buildout Initiative.That program supports small communities that have developed broadband infrastructure project plans but are held back by technical expertise limitations or challenges with financing.

Communities will work with initiative partner Connect Humanity.
