The City of Lago Vista is seeking individuals to serve on the Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee.
The purpose of the advisory committee will be to guide the planning efforts and plan development. The committee will serve as a sounding board to Halff (planning consultants) and City staff, while being representative of the community and their desires.
As this committee will serve as a guiding voice for the comprehensive plan and future of Lago Vista, it is suggested that the members of the committee have a balance of demographics in terms of age, tenure in Lago Vista, race, gender, etc. to reflect an accurate representation of current and future community members. The suggested composition for the committee is 15 members and should include representatives from the following groups.
Meetings
The committee will meet up to four (4) times, as follows, with specific dates and times determined with the project execution plan. Meeting topics may follow the outline below or change as needed.
• Meeting #1 – Visioning and Kick-Off
• Meeting #2 – Preliminary Recommendations
• Meeting #3 – Draft Plan Review
• Meeting #4 – Revised Draft Review
