NJCTS Plans Fall Family Fun This Month

It's almost time for pumpkins, apple picking, and hay rides! NJCTS families are invited to join us at our Fall Fun Day at Von Thun's Farm in Monmouth Junction on Saturday, September 28. Meet or catch up with other families in the TS community, enjoy fall activities on the farm, and connect with NJCTS staff.


A $10 per person registration includes the games, hay ride, corn maze, and refreshments in our party zone. (Under 3 is free!)

NJ Center for Tourette Syndrome and Associated Disorders provides valuable resources for parents, teachers, counselors, administrators, and school health professionals. If you need help explaining TS to your school administrators, please reach out to us for help! We can provide information and presentations. We can also send a Youth Advocate into your child's school to speak with the class.

September Online Programs & Support Groups

NJCTS is planning exciting programming throughout the month.

Today’s Challenge, Tomorrow’s Strength: A Support Group for Parents of Children with Tourette

September 11 at 8 p.m.



The monthly NJCTS support group is an avenue for parents who are new to a tic disorder diagnosis to seek support and guidance from parents who have more experience, as well as an opportunity for parents with more familiarity in coping with a diagnosis to also learn and seek guidance.

Community Connections for Adults with TS

September 21 at 12:30 p.m. (In-Person)


Join us for an in-person Community Connections "hang out" for those 21+. Here you can comfortably discuss your experiences, share advice, and build relationships with those who understand your unique challenges.

MASTERMINDS - Keeping the Love: Strengthen Your Partnership while Raising Neurodivergent Children

September 25 at 7 p.m.


Nurturing your relationship with your partner can be challenging after having children, and when those children are neurodivergent, it can feel almost impossible. The additional stress and opportunities for growth that come with supporting a child with ADHD, Autism, or other neurodivergent conditions can place a tremendous strain on a couple’s relationship.

High school students representing seven states learned about advocacy, leadership, and resilience from professionals and mentors as NJ Center for Tourette Syndrome and Associated Disorders conducted their 11th Tim Howard Leadership Academy on the Busch Campus of Rutgers University in August.
