Thank you for attending the NIC Roadshow at Sandpoint High School! | |
|
Thank you to all the faculty and staff who attended the NIC Roadshow at Sandpoint High School on Friday, March 24.
Here are some quick facts about the event:
- More than 25 CTE programs were represented in person with additional information about other NIC CTE programs available if students were interested.
- Two transfer programs were represented in person, with additional information about other NIC transfer programs available if students were interested.
- WTC programs were represented alongside the CDL program (YES, they brought up the yellow semi for students to climb in and out of).
- Many of the programs left with lists of students who wanted more information about their programs (how to sign up, class schedule, tours, etc.)
- An estimate of between 400 and 500 students came through the Roadshow!
- New this year, several tables with laptops where students were able to apply to NIC on the spot (and get a free shirt/hat/beach towel) or get help with registration. Three students applied and four others received registration/general help. Special thanks to Will Clifford and Sara Bennett for their assistance setting this up and helping students!
There was a photo booth for students to take pictures at and a photographer at the event, photos coming soon!
Thanks to everyone who assisted in making this event a success! Now more than ever, recruitment and having a positive community presence means everything for NIC.
