CPRES 2024 Retreat Postponed
Our work on anti-racism is important work, and we strive to offer events that are deeply meaningful and transformative. Sometimes, there are things that keep us from holding certain events. Unfortunately, we need to postpone our Clergy Peer Reflection and Engagement Retreat for this fall, as we look forward to offering an improved experience in the spring. If you have paid for the retreat, please let us know if you would like a refund or would like to apply this toward the Spring Retreat. A date for the Spring Retreat has not been set yet. Again, this is important work and we want to be sure that we give our full attention to the planning and implementation of CPRES 2025. Learn more.

The Nyadire Connection, a faith-based nonprofit founded by United Methodists in Pittsburgh, has partnered with the Nyadire Mission community in Zimbabwe for 18 years. Recently amid a severe drought, the organization raised over $100,000 to provide food relief to nearly 400 families, addressing hunger that was affecting students, teachers, and workers. The support has significantly improved attendance and performance at schools while also alleviating the economic strain on the broader community.
