The Executive Council made the decision to reappoint Barb Carson as the NHPA 4th Vice President. Austin Bailey was elected but was later appointed to the 1st VP position.

Barb and her husband Alex were very active with the NHPA. Alex died unexpectedly on October 18, 2021, but Barb has continued her NHPA duties. Barb started volunteering to work in the Stat Room at the World Tournament in Iowa in 2010. By 2011, she was working full time in the Stat Room at each World Tournament. In 2021, she was appointed to the 4th Vice President position by Stu Sipma to supervise the Regional Directors.

Before retiring, Barb was a Business Systems Analyst for finance companies and banks. She acted as a liaison between the software companies and the banks and finance companies.

We wish Barb good luck in continuing to pursue her duties as 4th Vice President.
