Annual Investor Meeting & Banquet

On February 28, 2023 we held our annual investor meeting and banquet. It was an honor to host Governor, Jim Pillen as our guest speaker for the banquet. Thank you to all other dignitaries and members in attendance. We would like to thank our 2022 NGage Board as well as welcoming Heath Stewart to our 2023 board of directors.

In March our board and staff worked to develop our strategies for NGage in the next 3 years.
Five to Thrive

In order for a community to thrive, it must meet five indicators for every age group. Those five indicators are: live, learn, work, play, and connect In what areas do we meet these indicators? In what areas do we need to improve? These are questions that we’ll be asking ourselves to direct our goals and scope of work in 2023.
NGage Community Updates
Manufacturing Day for Johnson County Central and Tri-County.
NGage worked with area schools to coordinate a Spring Manufacturing Day in which 94 kids attended. There was a range of 7-12th graders that came and toured Beatrice manufacturers.
NGage worked with the SBA to provide a Business Start-Up 101 workshop.
NGage hosted the Small Business Administration to come present a Starting a Business 101 workshop. We had 12 registrations for this educational opportunity.
Kinney Manufacturing continues to grow in Beatrice Industrial Park
"Kinney Manufacturing came to Beatrice in 2018 and has been expanding since with the purchase of three other local industrial businesses. Randy and Debby Kinney both grew up on family farms in northeast Nebraska. They married in 1991 and spent time working for different companies in Louisiana, Texas, and Kansas. They returned to Lincoln in 2005."

NGage is working with Beatrice Public Schools to plan a job/career fair for high school students on April 28th, 2023! The job fair will go from approximately 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. This event provides a great opportunity to help fill part-time, full-time, and seasonal positions. While also allowing high school students to explore different career pathways and helping efforts to grow and retain our future workforce.
