RIO HONDO COLLEGE INSPIRES FUTURE ENTREPRENEURS IN SUMMER BIZCAMP
Río Hondo Community College motivated 30 area high school students to hone their management skills and creative thinking abilities during a NFTE BizCamp that ran through August 6. The camp was funded through a $20,000 California Community College Strong Workforce Grant, allowing all students to participate at no cost.This marks our third year partnering with Rio Hondo and we hope there will be many more!
ANNOUNCING A NEW PARTNERSHIP
NFTE is pleased to announce It has joined the coalition of nonprofits supporting READY SET, a national tutor, mentor and service recruitment campaign created by the CAA Foundation in partnership with MENTOR, Volunteer Match, and AmeriCorps. READY SET aims to increase volunteer engagement by making it easy to support students who have suffered increased learning and relational losses contributed to by the COVID-19 Pandemic. We look forward to working with READY SET to further entrepreneurship education throughout the region.
