LOVE FOR SOUTHERN HAS NO BOUNDARIES
Life is a day-to-day journey. No mortal knows with certainty the journey’s duration. We do know that tomorrow is not promised. We do know that life gives each mortal a sense of purpose. We do know that LOVE for SOUTHERN nourishes the heart, inspires and causes the souls of SOUTHERN alums to soar above the stars. Our individual and collective DNA is infused with the wisdom, genius, and courage of our Founders and endless brigades of dedicated warrior-alums. Our warrior-alum mission and purpose are to nurture and support our Alma Mater and its legacy. These are not monumental tasks. Warrior-alums must embrace their
duty
to do what we must do for the Southern University System and its five campuses. LOVE for SOUTHERN knows no boundaries. Our LOVE for SOUTHERN demands that we employ all innovative approaches as well as the “old school” tradition of making meaningful and substantial personal monetary donations to support scholarships and faculty endowments. We must provide the platform to insure that future alums will enjoy their extraordinary experiences at the only predominantly Black HBCU system in the Milky Way. Our LOVE for SOUTHERN gives us a united and resounding voice to sing
