FARRIER SOAP This soap is designed specifically for farriers with farrier input and approval. The essential oils used assist in removing the hoof scent from your hands, leaving a pleasing licorice/peppermint aroma. Deactivated charcoal is added as a deodorizer and natural abrasives for scrubbing power. Farriers love leaving a bar in their truck, because it gets the smell out of there as well. It's back - HO! HO! HO! It's one of the very first created, and it showcases in a somewhat humorous light the "dark" side of farriery. We all know that yelling "HO!" at a difficult horse is probably not the most effective way to convince him to hold still, but people do it anyway. This one depicts an escalating meleé between horse and farrier with a batman-esque altercation at the end.  See this (along with all the rest of the Christmas cards) here

FARRIER BOOK HAND SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR! I have a limited number of Ray Legel's TAILS OF A HORSESHOER. Farriers will enjoy stories like "Road Apple Assault" ; Ray's candid account of his attack on his now ex-brother-in-law is not something that many folks would be brave enough to put in print about themselves: "...He took off with juicy, green horse s**t smeared from sideburn to sideburn. This is a huge effort beyond the writing part. The copies I have on hand are the very last ones from Ray's stash, and may very well be the last press run that he does. CRAPPY Products Why would I put a page full of products dedicated to HORSE MANURE on my website? The fact is, if you've got horses, you've got manure. And lots of it. Most of us accept this as a not-all-that-unpleasant aspect of horse ownership. City folk pay to go to the gym. I can clean stalls for free! It's a great fitness workout routine - 7 days a week. Do kennel owners have an endearing relationship with dog poop? I doubt it. Do cat lovers speak of litter box cleaning as "therapeutic"? Uh, no. But for horse folk, it's all part of the lifestyle.
