Louisiana might be a pro-life state, but in 2017, 24 babies were killed every day by abortion . What a tragedy. While we are happy that abortion has decreased in Louisiana , we all know we have so much more to do to save these little lives and help their moms.

21 Pregnancy Centers, Adoption Agencies and Family Groups Awarded Choose Life Grants

Louisiana Right to Life, which manages the state's Choose Life License Plate program, just awarded 21 pregnancy centers, adoption agencies, and other family organizations a Choose Life grant for 2018-19. This grant money is made available to the agencies each year thanks to Louisiana drivers who have Choose Life specialty plates on their vehicles.

Save the Dates for 2019 La. Life March Events
Save the dates and plan to attend one of four Louisiana Life March events in 2019 and show your love for moms and babies! A new march, the Louisiana Life March Northeast, has been added this year in the Monroe area and joins marches in Baton Rouge, Shreveport-Bossier and Pineville-Alexandria.


St. Tammany Right to Life, along with Louisiana Right to Life, will host a Pro-Life Persuasion Crash Course on Saturday, Sept. 8 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Lakeshore Church in Covington. Attend and learn how to become a compassionate and compelling pro-life advocate from Ben Clapper, LARTL executive director.

Can you help us share the pro-life message with visitors to the State Fair of Louisiana in Shreveport this fall? This year's annual event is Oct. 25 through Nov. 11, and Louisiana Right to Life is looking for volunteers to help man our pro-life booth. Times are available morning, afternoon, and evenings in three-hour increments for individuals and groups.
Do you live in or around Arnaudville? If so, join us on Se pt. 13 from 6-8 p.m. for a Pro-Life Persuasion Crash Course. Louisiana Right to Life and St. Francis Regis Church are hosting the event at Little Flower Auditorium in Arnaudville. Kri sta Corbello, Louisiana Right to Life youth programs co-director, will teach attendees how to become compassionate pro-life advocates.
The fifth annual Chers Bébés: Acadiana's Soiree for Life, has been set for Thursday, Nov. 8 at Cathedral Hall in Lafayette. Will you become a sponsor? The event benefits the Dr. Zerben Bienvenu and Dr. William Smith Fund for Acadiana Pro-Life Education, dedicated to the pro-life education of middle and high school students across Acadiana.
Life Chains are being planned around Louisiana for the month of October. We've confirmed events in Slidell, Mandeville, and Alexandria; do you know of a Life Chain in your area that is being planned?
