ASI has three new offerings for deeper ongoing Sanskrit study.

First the fully revised classic Yoga Sutras Workbook 2nd edition. Second, the Yoga Sutras Workbook Atlas Edition including a new Forward and Introduction. The Sanskrit language that Yoga Sutras was crafted in, works as a glue that holds together the logic and inner consistency of the text. By the progressive development of the words and their meaning through definition and context, Patañjali created a perfect interlocking puzzle of meaning that is elegant in its simplicity and compelling by the force of its truth. By learning the Sutras in this way, one prepares oneself for a lifetime of insight as the process of yoga continually deepens. Internalized by meditation, the definitions of Patañjai become a living experience.

Third, the New Pānini Atlas (books 1, 2 and 3). This work is based on my own personal practice of the study of Pānini's Ashtadhyāyī. As with all Sanskrit study, through ASI, the study of the language itself is the practice of yoga. If language is a representation of life, a tool that allows us to understand the complex interactions and relationships that occur in time and space between self and creation, then Pānini's depiction of the Sanskrit language offers us a tool that awakens us to meaning that helps us to see and understand the perfect beauty of all things.

It is my greatest pleasure to be able to share the insights and practices that have emerged from my love and study of the Sanskrit language. The revised Yoga Sutras Workbooks and the new publication of the Pānini Atlas are born from my own deep personal study of Sanskrit as a practice, a practice of yoga.

Yoga Sutras: The   Practice Part I

Learn the Sanyama practice as outlined by Patañjali. Sanayama is the key to direct experience of the truth described in the Yoga Sutras.

"I've read your book. Twice, in small bites, so I could work on properly digesting some of the wealth of information it contains. Many books on the yoga sutras feel like they're written from an insightful, intellectual perspective but lack the connection of direct experience. Yours has both. And your insights have threaded together a transformative, accessible approach to studying and practicing the sutras".
