Today’s Piece of Palm Coast History takes us back 45 years to 1978, when ITT recruited LPGA star Nancy Lopez to represent Palm Coast Golf Course (now Palm Harbor Golf Club) as the touring professional. When not on tour, Lopez would spend most of her time in Palm Coast – helping to develop the reputation for premier golf that our city has to this day.

City Council recognized three proclamations during the Council's Business Meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2023. The first proclamation, read by Council Member Cathy Heighter, recognized February 2023 as National Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. The second proclamation was read by Council Member Nick Klufas, recognizing February 14, 2023, as National Donor Day. The third proclamation was read by Council Member Theresa Carli Pontieri, recognizing February 28, 2023, as Rare Disease Day.

Trucks will be serving from 5-8 pm and feature a variety of appetizers, main dishes, side dishes, and desserts available for purchase. Registration is not required. The 3rd annual City of Palm Coast Touch-A-Truck event is scheduled to take place on May 27, 2023, at Central Park in Town Center. This is a FREE community event and visitors will get an up-close and personal experience with all of their favorite trucks seen going down the road!
