Gain New Insights Using National Child Health Data

Estimates from the combined 2021-2022 National Survey of Children's Health are now available on the CAHMI's Data Resource Center's Interactive Data Query

The Data Resource Center for Child and Adolescent Health (DRC), a project of the Child and Adolescent Health Measurement Initiative (CAHMI), under a cooperative agreement with the Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB), is excited to announce the release of the 2021-2022 National Survey of Children's Health (NSCH). These estimates are available through the interactive data query on childhealthdata.org!

The DRC’s interactive data query provides point and click access to national, state and regional data for more than 350 Child and Family Health Measures! Representing data collected from 104,955 children ages 0-17 years, the 2021-2022 combined year NSCH data offers larger samples sizes and robust estimates which facilitate important subgroup analyses across state and child populations. Visit the DRC NSCH Overview page to learn more and explore NSCH resources such as fast facts, guides to topics and questions, methodology reports, survey instruments, and a crosswalk of survey items. Additional resources are available at HRSA MCHB’s NSCH webpage, including the NSCH Data Briefs. NSCH public use data files can be found on the U.S. Census Bureau’s NSCH page.
