Summaries of timely road safety news, events, and alerts
Message from NETS' Executive Director, Joe McKillips
Road Safety Colleagues,

Greetings and hope this finds everyone having a safe and relaxing summer!

Here at NETS, our statistical benchmark team is hard at work finalizing the review and analysis of benchmark data submitted by NETS members earlier in the year. As many of you know, this deep-dive assessment represents the cornerstone of NETS member benefits through a unique and custom set of road safety outcomes which are invaluable to our member audience.

Upon its completion, a summary of key findings and correlations between crash performance and leading program initiatives will be rolled into our 2019 Strength IN Numbers® Benchmark Report and delivered to NETS members. A top-line overview of Benchmark findings will also be shared during our 2019 Strength IN Numbers® Benchmark Conference scheduled to take place in Washington, D.C. October 9th and 10th.

NETS Benchmark Conference is sure to have something for everyone, whether you are looking to enhance your well-established road safety program, gain support for your growing road safety program, or are merely looking for early guidance in developing your road safety program. This year’s event represents another great opportunity to learn best practices and gain valuable “real world” improvement strategies at the only conference focused exclusively on employer road safety. Led by an amazing set of recently announced KEYNOTE speakers , the conference agenda and topic selection is shaping up to be one of our most comprehensive on record. NEW this year will also be an exclusive learning “track” for individuals who carry responsibilities for heavy good vehicles (HGV) as part of their organization's supply chain.

As with past conferences, attendees will also have the opportunity to engage directly with valued NETS sponsors for the duration of proceedings as they showcase some of the most sought after road safety products in the industry. Partnership case studies forged between NETS members AND sponsor organizations will once again be highlighted from the conference podium allowing attendees to hear first-hand how to apply some of the industry's most advanced road safety technology.

Don’t miss your chance to improve your company's road safety program and interact with some of the industry’s leading road safety professionals. Register today!

Thanks again to everyone for your commitment to road safety and wish you continued success.

Safe driving!
