NDMTSS: A Framework for Student Success


(From NDMTSS Playbook 2018)


North Dakota’s Multi-Tier System of Supports (NDMTSS) is a framework to provide all students with the best opportunities to succeed academically and behaviorally in school. NDMTSS focuses on providing high-quality instruction and interventions matched to student need, monitoring progress frequently to make decisions about changes in instruction or goals. Data are used to allocate resources to improve student learning and support staff implementation of effective practices.

Behavior Interventions to Support All Tiers

This four-part series designed to introduce research and evidence-based behavior interventions that can be implemented in the large and small group settings. This course is ideal for general education and special education teachers, as well as those who support the implementation of behavior intervention plans.

Technical Adequacy Tool for Evaluation (TATE)


March 28, 2023

2-hours virtually. Attendees will be expected to view recorded content PRIOR to attending the session.


The TATE was developed to measure the technical adequacy (quality) of completed FBA/BIPs. It can provide scores and patterns that help. Identify specific FBA/BIP areas needing improvement. Essential components of adequate FBA/BIPs are presented along with the rationale for including each. This session is intended for educators who are responsible for implementing FBA/BIPs or who are supervising educators who implement FBA/BIPs.


MEASURE quality of completed FBA/BIPs

Stronger Connections Grant Funding

The Stronger Connections Grant is a competitive federal grant that provides the opportunity for high-need LEA’s to improve conditions for student learning through the implementation of a comprehensive plan incorporating evidence based activities, programs, and practices to create safer and healthier learning environments that promote positive school climates and have a measurable and direct impact on students.
