Thanks to all those who joined us at the 60th Annual NCMS Training Seminar! It was an inspiring week with great discussions, expert insights, and invaluable networking opportunities. As we reflect on the event, we are excited to share some standout moments and resources to keep the momentum going.

Event Recap: Celebrating 60 Years of Excellence

This year, over 1500+ security professionals from across the nation gathered to explore the latest trends and challenges in security management. We were thrilled to celebrate 60 years of NCMS’s commitment to advancing the industry.

Our team was happy to support and honor NCMS's 60 years of excellence by distributing commemorative challenge coins to our team, creating lasting mementos of the event.

Networking Success

One of the biggest takeaways from this year's seminar was the invaluable connections made. Attendees had numerous opportunities to network with peers, experts, and leaders, forging relationships that will undoubtedly influence our industry's future.

PSS met with industry colleagues and enjoyed a night out in the vibrant downtown of Nashville. The team could not believe the volume of foot traffic for a Wednesday night. Every venue had something special to offer and had patrons pouring out the doors. PSS enjoyed the opportunity to connect with colleagues outside the typical business setting, cultivating relationships and partnerships meant to last.

Today, the Society has almost 7,000 members in the United States and overseas including representatives from NATO countries. Within the U.S., members come from the Department of Energy, Department of Defense, Department of State, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Federal Bureau of Investigation, National Security Agency, General Accounting Office--virtually every Federal agency that deals with classification--and from the civilian contractors who work with these agencies. As the Society has grown over the years, its focus has also expanded. NCMS now provides professional development for its members in the field of classification management, information security, personnel security, computer security, operations security (OPSEC), facility security, and technology security.
