Sustainable Forestry Teachers Experience Educator Featured by Project Learning Tree

Betty Jo Moore is a sixth grade science teacher who attended the 2023 Piedmont Sustainable Forestry Teachers Experience (SFTE). Check out this Project Learning Tree Teacher Feature to hear about how SFTE and PLT helped her spark curiosity in her students.

As Betty Jo says, "I applied for [SFTE] for several reasons – to learn about forestry, to learn about resources available in the Piedmont, and to look for ways to incorporate outdoor learning in my teaching. Getting the PLT training was a bonus for me.”

Employee Retention Credit Opportunity

The NCFA has partnered with Delta ERC to help members interested in taking advantage of the Employee Retention Credit (ERC) – a refundable tax credit for businesses and tax-exempt organizations. Anyone that kept 5-500 employees working through the pandemic is eligible for the program.
