FEBRUARY 2024 NEWSLETTER
Creativity, imagination and inspiration all came together at our 2024 Vision Board workshop last week at Patty's house. We had more magazines than we thought possible, but so appreciated the variety, as we cut and pasted images of our goals and dreams in every life category. Sharing lunch was over the top with a special surprise from Tori, a delicious pineapple cake to celebrate Carla's birthday! A card, a funny AI poem and a facial gift certificate were so loved and appreciated by Carla. The NCCF family are the nicest, most thoughtful and generous bunch of friends. Thank you to everyone!
Coming Soon to a Park near you!
We are looking into adding a couple more outdoor classes further North for our Carlsbad, Oceanside and Vista members. It will be at a park that is central to these areas so if you have any ideas, let Carla know via text or email. Carla@northcountycancerfitness
or 858-334-8446.
NCCF will be participating in the Encinitas Health and Wellness Expo on February 10th from 10am-2pm at 1140 Oakcrest Park Dr. in Encinitas. This is a marketplace where members of the community can learn how to live their healthiest lifestyles. Meet exhibitors form local businesses in wellness industries: fitness, nutrition, medical, naturopathic, spa, healing and more. Enjoy the offering of workshops that will be happening in breakout rooms during the event.
If you are looking for a weekend yoga class, check out the Birdwing Amphitheater in the San Dieguito Lagoon in Delmar, off Via De La Valle. The entrance to the parking lot is off San Andreas. Bring a mat and towel to put underneath. These classes are led by our trainer Mary on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month at 10am.
Please join us to support our friend Rain Hampton as she shares her story of hope at the Ovarian Cancer Benefit on February 23rd from 6-10pm. The event will be held at the Aztec Brewery in Vista located at 2330 La Mirada Dr. Vista, Ca. 92081.
One dollar of all drink sales will be donated back to NCCF! Thank you Rain for supporting us in so many ways!
