On behalf of the XHS faculty and staff, we wish all of our families a very happy and safe summer! We share our deepest thanks to you for your partnership with us in helping your students learn and grow into young adults who will ultimately be Saints not only to us, but to the world.

We will continue to send Xavier Updates as necessary over the summer. For parents who will not have a student at Xavier in the 2024-2025 school year, you will stop receiving Xavier Updates after June 30th. We will keep you on our weekly Good News list so that you can keep up with the many xceptional things our Saints are doing!

Summer Office Hours

The office will be closed Monday, May 27th in observance of Memorial Day.

Starting May 28th the main office will be open:

• Monday through Thursday 8:00am-3:00pm
• Friday 8:00pm-12:00pm.

The offices will be closed the week of July 1st-5th for summer cleaning.

Free Summer Lunches

Class of 2024 Transcripts

High school transcripts for the Class of 2024 will be sent directly to the college the student indicated in Naviance. These will be sent after grades are finalized around mid-June. An email was sent to all graduates on April 12 reminding them of the process to request college transcripts for dual credit classes (SLU, MMU, IA, Kirkwood). Please first check with your student regarding questions related to transcripts and then reach out to Student Services if further clarification is needed.

St. Joseph Fun Days!

St. Joseph Fun Days is May 31, June 1 and 2.  Please join us in celebrating our Faith, Family and Community.  There are many activities for all age groups; Country Store, Silent Auction, BINGO, Carnival Rides, Kids Games, Food, Hog Roast, Paddle Wheel and fantastic musical talent all weekend long in the Beverage Tent.  Raffle tickets are available for $10 each with a chance to win $20,000!  There are also many volunteer opportunities available if you are willing to help out a fellow parish!.  Please visit www.stjosephfundays.org for more information.

Summer Student Volunteer Opportunities in Foundation Office

Looking for your student to get out of the house and do something productive this summer? Want them to gain office experience and help build the resume? The Xavier Foundation Office has a need for summer volunteers!

• Immediate need: Phone calls to donors! This project will begin early June.
• Additional projects could include: Assembling mailings, delivering items to parishes/donors, helping set up for events, database/research, etc.
• No set hours, vary by projects each week – will reach out via email as projects are available throughout the summer.

If interested, email advancement@xavierfoundation.org with your student’s name and grade, availability, and preferred method of contact.

All tuition should be paid at this time. Please login to your online account (instructions below) to check balances and make payments. All returning students must have tuition paid to be considered officially enrolled for the next school year.

• To see your tuition Balance, account details or to make a payment click the link My BackPack or locate at our website xaviersaints.org/parent.
• Please use the "Forgot Username/Password" on My BackPack website if needed.
• Remember that your username should be some form of first letter of first name and last name ex. TSMITH or may have a number on the end of a more common name ex. TSMITH1.

Xavier Booster Club Golf Outing - June 24th - Volunteers Needed!

The Xavier Booster Club is hosting it’s 27th Annual Golf Outing on Monday June 24th at Elmcrest Country Club. We are looking for volunteers to help at many different times of the day.  Please consider signing up to help us support our 30+ Xavier sports, fine arts and other clubs and activities.

Sport Physicals Offered



Family Physicians of Cedar Rapids is once again offering Sports physicals this summer for all students. 

• Dates: July 9 - August 16
• Cost $45 (will not be submitted to insurance) cash, check or credit card accepted. A donation of $5.00 per physical will be made to Xavier Athletic Department.
