Dear Sharon,
The day kicked off with the keynote, "Activating Hope to Foster Student Mental and Physical Health, Safety, Connection, and Performance." Kathryn Goetzke, CEO and Chief Hope Officer of The Shine Hope Company, introduced "The Five Keys to SHINE Hope" as a framework for instilling hope in young people, with a deep dive into the science of hope.
Bob Bundy and Jenny Gormley, DNP, MSA, BA, RN, NCSN, followed with a keynote on the Basics of School Medicaid. They gave a fun and engaging overview of documentation standards and discussed how the program works regardless of attendees' locations.
The rest of the day was filled with breakout sessions, Braindates, and open hours in the Exhibit Hall.
