Nominating Committee

Dear NASA Members, 

 

The Nominating Committee announces the official call for candidates for the following NASA officer positions, as described in the NASA bylaws:

  • President-Elect
  • Treasurer
  • Secretary

 

The committee requests that each candidate’s submission includes a response to the following prompts:

 

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Suitability for the position—past involvement in NASA, etc.
  • Vision—what do you see for the future of our organization
  • Applicable experience—organization/management skills/institutional knowledge
  • Statement on the mission of NASA

 

To nominate a candidate or to self-nominate, please send your statement of qualifications to any member of the nominating committee, listed below:

Nominations must be received no later than August 19, 2024. After review of the candidate statements, the committee will field a slate of candidates for the official election which will take place in September.

The North American Saxophone Alliance is an organization made up of individuals who share a common interest in the saxophone. Members include professional performers, university professors, public school teachers, students of all levels, and others who have an interest in the saxophone. In addition to the Alliance's emphasis on disseminating information concerning the saxophone, the organization also works to provide opportunities for its members to make music, fostering fellowship among saxophone enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds.
