NAMIWalks Central Oregon 2024 | |
NAMIWalks Central Oregon, our mental health awareness walk held on May 18, 2024, at Pioneer Park in Bend, OR, was a huge success! We raised $25,414.02 to fund our free mental health support and advocacy programs, had 164 registrants, 18 teams and 20 volunteers assisting the walk.
Teams include Oregon State Dept employees, St. Charles Behavioral Health, BestCare, TeleCare, Deschutes County Health Services, Embark Behavioral Health, La Pine Community Health Center, BestMind, Edward Jones, SNAP Fitness and others.
It was wonderful to see our community come together across Central Oregon and unite to the end the stigma surrounding mental illness and show support for one another. Thank you to everyone who raised funds, walked, supported, volunteered and helped - we appreciate you!
NAMIWalks Central Oregon is our affiliate's largest source of financial support, allowing us to maintain and grow our education, advocacy, and support programs in our community.
