Hall Capital Hosts NAIC Virtual Institutional Investor Roadshow

On August 11th, NAIC held its third Institutional Investor Roadshow of the year, and its first virtually. The event was one of NAIC’s largest roadshows to date, coordinating 80 one-on-one meetings between NAIC member firms and the participating institutional investors and advisors. Hall Capital hosted the event and invited eight active alternatives investors to participate: Cambridge Associates, CommonSpirit Health, David and Lucile Packard Foundation, Illumen Capital, James Irvine Foundation, Smithsonian Institution, University of Rochester, and William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. Together, the nine capital allocators represent over $115 billion in assets under management and another $400-plus billion in assets under advisement by Cambridge Associates.

Mill Point Capital Affiliate Acquires Noble Resources Corp.

Noble Resources Corporation, a leading provider of critical communications and utility infrastructure services, announced that it has been acquired by Full Circle Fiber Partners, an affiliate of Mill Point Capital. Headquartered in Tampa, FL, Noble is a leading outside plant construction company that installs aerial and underground utilities to coaxial, copper and fiber optic cables. Laurel Oak Capital Acquires Provider of Temperature-Controlled Transportation Services

Laurel Oak Capital Partners, LLC, announced the acquisition of RRTC Holdings, Inc., the temperature-controlled division of Roadrunner Transportation Systems. RRTC Holdings is comprised of Roadrunner Temperature Controlled, LLC and A&A Express, LLC. RRTC Holdings is a leading provider of temperature-controlled transportation services for frozen foods, meat, seafood, produce, beverages, ice cream, pharmaceutical goods and many other products requiring temperature-controlled transit. Diligent Corporation Receives New Investment from Clearlake Capital

Diligent Corporation, a leading global modern governance company used by nearly 700,000 board directors and leaders, announced that it has received an increased investment from Clearlake Capital Group, L.P., and a new investment from funds managed by Blackstone Tactical Opportunities (NYSE:BX). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Leveraging insights from a team of industry innovators, as well as highly secure, integrated SaaS technologies, Diligent’s industry-leading suite of solutions changes how work gets done at the executive and board levels.

Netrix Recapitalized by OceanSound Partners

Netrix, LLC, announced that an affiliate of OceanSound Partners has recapitalized the company. Netrix is a leading provider of cloud infrastructure, collaboration, data, and development services and solutions to small and midsize enterprise customers. Through an offering spanning professional and managed services, as well as the resale of third-party hardware and software, Netrix designs, implements, and supports leading-edge, mission-critical information technology solutions. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

WM Partners Announces Agreement to Acquire Great Lakes Gelatin Co.

WM Partners announced that HPH II Investments Master Fund, LP together with its related entities entered into a definitive purchase agreement to acquire Great Lakes Gelatin Company. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Great Lakes Gelatin is a provider of collagen and gelatin products consisting of a brand and wholesale/bulk business based in Grayslake, IL. Great Lakes products come in various flavors and some products have added ingredients targeting health and beauty, cooking, and pre and post-workout enthusiasts. The company sells its products through the natural, food, drug, and mass channels as well as through e-commerce channels, specifically Amazon and its website.
