N-Tron Gigabit Capable Ethernet Switches

For an Ethernet switch, gigabit capability refers to the speed at which the switch can transmit data. In this case, it means a rate of a gigabit, or 1 billion bits, per second. This can also be labeled as a 1000 Mbps data rate. While it does not affect Internet speed, using Gigabit capable switches is ideal for speeding up communication between devices on the same local network, particularly if you are often transferring large files over the network.
N-Tron Gigabit capable switches are offered through the 1000 and 7000 series, as well as the 7900 CPU, which is made for the 9000 series modular switches. Please note that for some switches, the Gigabit transceivers may be sold separately.
