"Hi all – I’m trying to put together a couple of case studies that document successful projects where the CRA has generally:

• Assembled multiple parcels – ideally at least one city block (or a city/county has transferred property to a CRA)
• Developed the general design standards for minimum expectations for mixed-use or mid/high rise multi-family development (and may or may not have included some type of CRA / City development proforma) – generally in a downtown or nearby neighborhood
• Issued through an RFQ / RFP disposition of the property with the expected minimum standards
• Awarded to a for-profit developer
• Provided any other incentives beyond land (or how that was structured) or other financial contributions/support services / etc. used to enable the project
• Saw the project built and active today
• The purpose is to generally demonstrate how an agency can take the leading role in effecting reinvestment when the city is complacent or not able to come to an alignment on actions.

Does anyone have examples from your community, or other similar examples over the last decade that you could share?

"The City of Largo CRA is looking to put together a visioning document of sorts- a guide that articulates our vision, purpose, and goals; complete with visuals and examples that help our community, investors and developers visualize what it is that we are hoping to create and that they can use to guide them in their design development, as well as to help us advance our placemaking and wayfinding in an intentional way. Does anyone have examples of similar efforts you have seen or done to help tell your story and rally the community behind a common vision?"
