FEATURE HIGHLIGHT: Energy Markers

Customer feedback indicates that they want their utility to help them better manage usage and costs.

Markers can help customers track their usage and potential savings after making changes in their homes or businesses.

Here's how:

From the Charts or Data view, click on the markers icon in the upper right corner of the screen

Click on 'Add Marker'

Choose Marker Type and Service Types

Fill in start and end dates and times

Add a description if wanted

Click 'Add Marker'; an icon will appear on the graph and data chart on the date/time indicated in the setup

A table will display, indicating usage before, during, and after the marker was placed to see the effect of the change

COMING IN 2024

Watch for these new features available with MyAccount in 2024:

Service Forms - customers will be able to apply for new service, transfer their existing service, or request to stop their service, all online and integrated with NorthStar

Outage Management with OpenPoint - customers will be able to report outages to and receive outage notifications from utilities adopting the OpenPoint OMS

Action Tiles - to increase customer engagement, customers will be able to complete trackable energy-saving actions within the Property Profile menu
