My Dad started in the Car Biz in the early 50's had several used car lots, one called Craig's Auto Sales.....has a ring to it? He managed several large dealerships along the way and ended up buying a single point Plymouth store in the late 60's.
We advertised as being the "World's Largest Plymouth Only Dealership in the Country"...[I think there were 42 others....lol] He sold the store and got into the RV business for awhile and of course is retired today, playing lots of golf in South Carolina at age 83. He told me he plays golf with bunch of old guys in their 70's...lol Best Salesman, Closer I have ever seen and I have seen many....Here's to you Dad...."Fast Eddie Lockerd!" |
