Museum Series Bicycle Tours

(Daycation - A one day vacation used to explore the entertainment, recreation, and education opportunities at area locations)
Take the opportunity to ride with us to area museums that you may not have visited, or even known about. The rides will start at 9 AM. Each rider will receive a map and cue sheet for the ride. This is a self guided tour which you ride at your own pace. Generally we ride together at a moderate pace. There is no charge for the tours but riders will pay for their admission to the Air Museum ($10) and the Model Ship Museum ($5). The Museum of the Grand Prairie has free admission. On each ride you will have the option of a long or short return route. You have many options and they will be fun. Riders should carry the usual bike repair items, water, snacks, and wear a helmet.
You can make your bicycle tour a family outing by having non-riders drive to the museum and meet you there. You could coordinate by cell phone for your meeting time. Then, when you have visited the museum, your family can drive home, you could drive back with them for a short tour of ~15 miles, or you could ride back on the regular return route for a total 30 - 40 mile tour (mileage varies to the different museums).

30 Mile round trip (shortcut for 20 miles), $5 Admission, Bring shoes - No cleats in the museum please.
