Newsletter from the Muraco Elementary School Parents Association (MESPA)

Hello from MESPA!

On behalf of the Muraco Elementary School Parents Association (MESPA), welcome to the 2022-2023 school year!

We want to take a moment to introduce returning and new families to MESPA, which serves as a communication and support system to Muraco staff, students and families through activities, events and in-school support and fundraising. We are 100% volunteer run, and our board meets monthly to plan and support various activities and goals at the school. We welcome any amount of time Muraco parents and caregivers have to offer! We have parents volunteering daily out front in the carline (rain or shine), others who help set up at our bigger events, and still more who help with behind the scenes support (newsletter communications, fundraising, etc). Any and all help is welcome!

Our Muraco Matters newsletter is distributed on Sunday evenings, with midweek updates as needed. We will be updating our MESPA website in the coming weeks, so for now, please use this newsletter for MESPA information. You can also find us on Muraco Matters Facebook page or email us with questions or ideas.

Please join us during the first week of school events for popsicles or coffee, to find out more about what we have planned for the coming year. We need volunteers, ideas and ... yes, financial support, but stay tuned for an important fundraising update in the coming weeks.
