Resetting the Fiscal Year in COMMBUYS |
Each year, municipal organizations and other entities not linked to the Commonwealth's financial system are advised to reset their fiscal year in COMMBUYS. This action ensures that bids, requisitions, and purchase orders are cataloged in the appropriate fiscal year within the system.
COMMBUYS Organization Administrators have received instructions to update their organization's fiscal year - an action that takes approximately 4-5 minutes to complete.

Diesel Emission Reduction Project Funding |
On May 27, the governor’s office announced $2.1 million in funding to accelerate the retirement of older, less efficient, and more polluting vehicles and promote investment in clean vehicle technologies. Entities may apply for Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection Diesel Emissions Reduction Act funding through July 12, 2021, at 5:00 p.m.
