Mundelein’s flags were flown at half-staff on December 7. On this day, 82 years ago, we recall the sacrifice and bravery of 2,403 American heroes who gave their lives in service to our nation. We are forever grateful to the greatest generation, which conquered evil and triumphantly fought for the world during World War II.

Leaf Collection FINAL WEEK!

Mundelein's leaf collection program wraps up the second week of December. Leaves must be curbside NOW to ensure collection. Groot's last sweep through the Village is underway, however, if your leaves were not curbside prior to this week, the leaves may not get collected.

In this season of giving, please support the Mundelein Fire Department’s FINAL BLOOD DRIVE for 2023 on Dec. 9 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Fire Station One-1000 N. Midlothian Rd. Also, the MFD is collecting toys for Toys for Tots through Dec. 15. Drop off gifts in the lobby of Fire Station One.

All Kids’ Kris Kringle Market Planned
