August 2, 2024

Fear can be paralyzing baggage that prevents us from stepping into God's promises and living out our faith boldly. This week, we explore how trusting in God's presence and power can help us overcome anxiety and fear. Through scripture, we will discover ways to combat fear with faith and trust in God.

Grace Marie Ward, Worship Arts Director, will be preaching in the Auditorium for the Contemporary Worship services; Michael Turner, Executive Pastor, will be preaching in the Sanctuary for the Traditional Worship services.

For those worshiping remotely, you're invited to watch our services online, on Facebook and YouTube.

Behold Conference

Gather with us for a special conference full of Biblical teaching, passionate worship, and encouragement from other believers across the state. From the main sessions to the breakouts, this is a time to grow in your own faith while gaining wisdom from others serving in ministry. BEHOLD Conference has been designed for church members, volunteers, leaders, and all interested in growing in their love for God and others. We are honored to host this great event here at Mt. Horeb Church for the Global Methodist Church in our state, and we invite you to attend August 8-9. Visit mthorebchurch.org/events for more details and to register.
