Movie Matinee Today at Varsity Theatre!

It's not too late to purchase tickets for our Fundraising/Friend Raising Event! We will watch Beetlejuice Beetlejuice together at Varsity Theatre this afternoon. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the theatre before the show.

The movie begins at 1 p.m. on Monday, September 9. Tickets are $20 and include movie admission, popcorn, and a drink. Friends of OLLI members are welcomed and encouraged to attend! They do not need to be members to purchase a ticket.

Proceeds from this event will go to the OLLI at SOU Annual Fund, and you get to enjoy the company of other members. We suggest you arrive by 12:30 p.m. to get your drink and popcorn. Varsity Theater is located at 166 East Main Street, Ashland. A no-host social gathering will take place at Growler Guys following the movie.

OLLI at SOU Courses Starting Next Week!

With Fall just around the corner that means OLLI courses are starting back next week on Monday, September 16. We are happy to welcome back returning members and extend a warm welcome to our many new members.

As we prepare to resume classes we wanted to issue a few important reminders...

Parking

• For information about parking at the Campbell Center and getting SOU parking permits, please view our OLLI at SOU Ashland Parking Guide.
• For information about parking at the Higher Education Center, please view our OLLI at SOU Medford Parking Guide.

Nametags

• Members interested in requesting a nametag should send the request to olli@sou.edu and allow one week for the nametag to be created.

Find Out About the 2025 Collette Trips!

On Tuesday, September 24, our Collette Tours representative will be at Campbell Center to talk about the 2025 trips and the many benefits of traveling with Collette. The two trips are “Spotlight on San Antonio” on April 14–18 and “Canyon Country” on September 5–12. You can pick up the trip brochures, talk directly with our representative, and get ready to make a reservation.

There are two meeting times scheduled for September 24: 11 a.m.–12:30 p.m. and 3:30–5 p.m. The presentations will be the same—attend either time, come to Campbell Center, Room E, and bring your questions.
