The 4th in MoVal Was a Blast!

EXCLUSIVE REPORT: On Thursday, July 4th, the City of Moreno Valley hosted our popular 4th of July Parade and Funfest event.

The parade was attended by countless residents, and members of the City Council joined dozens of local businesses, performers, and organizations as they made their way down Frederick Street, waving to the bystanders dressed in red, white, and blue, and proudly waving American flags.

Later in the afternoon, hundreds of Moreno Valley Residents came together at the Civic Center Amphitheater for great music, food, and family fun at the popular FunFest, which also featured an incredible fireworks display!

Pet of the Week:

Our Pet of the Week is Roxy, a three-year-old black and white Siberian Husky.

Before the animal shelter rescued her, Roxy was in rough shape. She arrived malnourished with her coat thinning. Our Shelter staff gave her the love and care she needed. Now Roxy is thriving! She has already gained 12 pounds, and her fur has returned. This sweet but shy pup is in need of a loving and patient family. Best of all, she’s already spayed and microchipped, ready to go home with you today!

If you would like to make Roxy or any pet from the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter part of your family, please contact the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter at 951.413.3790 or visit www.moval.org/pets.
