On Friday, May 31, the Mayor and City Council attended the much-anticipated ribbon cutting ceremony for one of Moreno Valley’s newest businesses, 85°C Bakery Café. 


Scores of residents, local businesspeople, and members of the Moreno Valley Chamber of Commerce also attended the grand opening celebration.


Located at the corner of Frederick Street and Towngate Blvd, the innovative café will offer specialty coffees and more than 50 varieties of pastries made fresh daily.

Celebrating Freedom and Community in MoVal

Celebrate freedom. Celebrate community. Celebrate Juneteenth in Moreno Valley!

 

Join us next Saturday, June 15, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Main Lot of the Civic Center Amphitheater for a free celebration featuring delicious food, great musical acts, games, and fun for the entire family!


This year’s event will feature performances by Aurora Monroe School of Dance, New Foundation Church, NLAA Dare Dance Company, and a two-hour concert by The Groove Squad! Plus, we’ll also have a domino tournament and a kids' electric car racetrack hosted by Kids Car Club LA.

Mark your calendars, because the MoVal Rocks/MoVal Movies summer series returns in June!


MoVal Rocks/MoVal Movies features exciting live bands and fun, family-friendly movies at our Civic Center Amphitheater. Both are great ways to spend a beautiful Moreno Valley summer evening under the stars and among friends!


MoVal Rocks and MoVal Movies take place every Thursday and Friday evening from June 27 to August 2.

Pet of the Week: Prince Charming

Our Pet of the Week is Prince Charming, also known as "PC." He's a 14-pound, brown and white three-year-old terrier mix.


PC may be small, but he's BIG on affection. He eagerly jumps into open arms and snuggles like a champ. If you've been waiting for your "prince" to come, today's the day!
