Join hundreds of your fellow neighbors as we maintain the beauty of Community Park in District 1 and Morrison Park in District 3.

Beautify MoVal is a great way to give back to your community, meet your neighbors, and spend a beautiful Moreno Valley day outdoors! We'll meet at City Hall at 8 a.m. for coffee, pastries, and fun before setting off to spruce up our parks!

Celebrating Freedom and Community in MoVal

Celebrate freedom. Celebrate community. Celebrate Juneteenth in Moreno Valley!

Join us at the Main Lot of the Civic Center Amphitheater on Saturday, June 15, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. for a free celebration featuring delicious food, great musical acts, games, and fun for the entire family!

This year’s event will feature performances by Aurora Monroe School of Dance, New Foundation Church, NLAA Dare Dance Company, and a two-hour concert by The Groove Squad! Plus, we’ll also have a domino tournament and a kids' electric car racetrack hosted by Kids Car Club LA.

The Main Lot is located on the west side of the Civic Center Amphitheater property, at 14075 Frederick Street, behind the Conference and Recreation Center. Visit moval.org/parks to learn more.

Mark your calendars, because the MoVal Rocks/MoVal Movies summer series returns in June!

MoVal Rocks/MoVal Movies features exciting live bands and fun, family-friendly movies at our Civic Center Amphitheater. Both are great ways to spend a beautiful Moreno Valley summer evening under the stars and among friends!

MoVal Rocks and MoVal Movies take place every Thursday and Friday evening from June 27 to August 2.

Make Home Sweet Home Even Sweeter!

Tomorrow, Saturday, June 1, is California’s Adopt a Pet Day! 

In honor of this statewide holiday, we are offering FREE dog and cat adoptions at the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. 

During this promotional event, the adoptions also include free spay/neuter and microchip.

Pet of the Week: Maggie

Our Pet of the Week is Maggie, a two-year-old, 54-pound female boxer.

Maggie knows a bag full of fun commands and is very attentive and easy-going on a leash. She has a friendly disposition and a gentle inquisitiveness in her gaze that will melt your heart.
